Serendipity

How do you define serendipity? For me, serendipity is an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I had a serendipitous moment yesterday. As I was hiking, I met a deer. It was such a peaceful interaction. As you can tell from the photo, he looked me right in the eyes, without any sense of fear or apprehension. I felt grateful that he remained still so I could take this picture. His doe was standing nearby, slightly out of camera range. One of the things that I love about Santa Fe is that, at any moment, there are opportunities to experience wildlife in a peaceful, non-threatening way.

Have you had a serendipitous moment lately? Please feel free to share it.

Enjoy your day.

Welcome

Hello Everyone.

This is my first blog and I am excited to begin this journey and share moments of gratitude and positivity.

Today's reminder is to pay attention to the small gifts that we receive from the universe each and every day. Here is today's example: I went to the Farmer's Market this morning in Santa Fe. It is normally quite crowded and parking can be difficult. As I pulled in to the parking area, a car had just pulled out. When I parked, I noticed the meter still had an hour on it. Free parking! Thank you!

Have you received any gift from the universe, large or small recently? Please share if you have.

Love and laughter.
